The Car Cost $4.8 Million, is covered with diamonds and is owned by Prince Waleed Bin Talal Al-Saud of the Saudi Royal Family. Saudi Arabia is one of the most unequal nations with a huge population of unemployed, religiously fanatical youths. The Saudi Royal family (consisting of literally a few thousand members) doesn't seem to know what to spend its money on. HERE'S A CLUE: take care of your own citizens so their anger doesn't spill out to the rest of the world.

There are repercussions when the insatiable demand for oil requires providing undying support for governments that see no need to care for their own citizens. The Saudi Royals live large, ignore much of their disgruntled youth, and use the clerics and propaganda to channel the youth anger outward. And we know where that can lead.
