No Bailout For You, Wall Street
It is beyond comprehension the audacity of an administration that expected the American Taxpayer to bail out the stupidity and mismanagement of the financial sector and all those who's speculative activities resulted in this disaster we are in today.

It is beyond comprehension the audacity of an administration that expected the American Taxpayer to bail out the stupidity and mismanagement of the financial sector and all those who's speculative activities resulted in this disaster we are in today.
Threats from the administration abound about this country being "plunged into recession" as a result of Congress failing to act on this bailout. We have heard these fear invoking statements before.
So let me get this straight - If Financial institutions gamble and lose everything, we, the taxpayers, are supposed to bail them out? What would have been this case had these same institutions made a profit on their stupid investments? Would they have shared any of it with the rest of us? You'd sooner see pigs flying that get a penny from them.
Congress actually doing its job for once and not bailing out these parasites is shocking and refreshing.
I recall a while ago, reading in history class how during the height of the Great Depression, CEOs of failed companies were jumping out of their multi-story windows.
With that in mind, it was with great pleasure and delight that I viewed this link.
