Global Warming Burns up Some Neanderthal Thinking

A quick review of some political thinking over the past two decades makes some politicians look pretty ignorant. We only have to go back as far as the last 3 Republican Presidents (W, Bush Senior and Reagan) to identify a good part of problem when it comes to Global Warming. THEY DENIED IT.

Yep, for the past 25 years Republicans have simply been ignoring all the scientists and factual evidence about Global Warming. Fearing that business would be hurt if steps were actually taken to stop the human causes of the warming trend, they fought against even admitting that warming exists. Instead they chose to deny, deny, deny, claiming the evidence wasn't convincing. They obviously weren't looking at any of the reports the rest of the world saw because this trend is no surprise to science.

Of course, we know what the truth is. The Republican administrations were willing to do anything to protect their business links, even if that "anything" leads to the end of civilization as we know it.

Every nation that participated in the Kyoto agreements regarding Global Warming agreed that there was/is a problem and that things needed to be done...Except one. The United States; the biggest offender, chose to sell out the world's population for the sake business buddies.

If there is any justice, when the Greenland ice shelf melts it will head right down the north american coast and up the Potomic river to Washington DC.
