Biological Warfare - WMDs have already been used on American Soil.

Biological and chemical weapons! Weapons of Mass Destruction! These phrases permeate the mainstream media. Induce fear in people so that they become less willing to question you! And what better method to induce that fear than to use the threat of an imminent biological attack?
Few people realize, however, that weapons of mass destruction have already been used on American soil. And it doesn't stop there - Not only were these weapons of mass destruction used intentionally, but the one weapon used was one of the most cruel - smallpox.
No, I am not referring to some conspiracy theory or X-Files episode. I am referring to an event seldom mentioned history books - The smallpox campaign that was waged against the indigenous people of the North American continent.
Lord Jeffrey Amherst was commanding general of British forces in North America during the final battles of the French & Indian war in the years 1754-1763. In a letter written to a subordinate, Colonel Bouquet, Lord Amherst wrote, "Could it not be contrived to send the Small Pox among those disaffected tribes of Indians? We must on this occasion use every stratagem in our power to reduce them". Bouquet replied that he would try and use infected blankets as a means of introducing the disease among the Indians, but was concerned of the possible effects this may have on his own men.
The willful distribution of Small Pox infected blankets amongst an indigenous population ill-prepared to cope with its devastating effects is nothing short of genocide. However, seldom, if ever, is this mentioned in the history books.
